Gawler Light Rotary creates, funds and delivers projects around Gawler and beyond, improving the lives of others and enriching the community, taking into consideration Rotary's seven areas of focus:​

We are proud to serve our community. We continue to provide, and have provided, support to many local and international projects including:

• Wheels in Motion Gawler

• Educated Smiles day plus sponsorship of students

• Cambodia Chicken Out Grower Project

• Scholarships for Women in Cambodia

• Micro Loan Pig Project in Bontihing, Bali

• Library replacement in Bontihing, Bali (Rotary Global Grant)

• Coordination of Equipment from Royal Adelaide Hospital for Donations in Kind

• Donations in Kind - loading containers

• Gawler Christmas Carols 

• Upgrading and refurbishment of platforms / characters for the Gawler Riverbank Christmas Display

• Youth development programs including Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, National Youth Science Forum, Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment, Rotary Youth Driver Awareness, Rotaract

• Support for extra tuition of Year 12 students at Gawler District College

• Gawler District College - All Rounder Award

• Literacy programs in primary schools

• International programs including Youth Exchange

• Clean Up Australia

• End Polio Plus

• Procurement & Installation of picnic tables at Dead Man's Pass, Gawler

• Tree planting at Dead Man's Pass - planting shrubs and seedlings (2017 & 2018)

• Tree planting (over 1000) for farmers affected by the Pinery bushfires (2016)

• Support for Australian Rotary Health, Gawler Health Foundation and Quality of Life Foundation

• ShelterBox Australia - providing emergency disaster relief

• Numerous fundraising activities
