As a Rotarian, you would be expected to participate in a variety of Rotary activities. These include general meetings which include social interactions, fundraising events and service projects. You may also be asked to make contributions to new ideas and projects so if there is something you are passionate about, we want to hear about it! We understand everyone has time constraints and that Rotary will always come behind family and work. We still want your enthusiasm and engagement and hope you'll consider joining a group of like-minded individuals who work together to create a better and brighter future for our local and international community.

Rotary promotes high ethical standards in all business and personal relationships. our members are asked to apply Rotary's Four Way Test to the things we think, say and do.

Financial Obligation

There is a financial obligation when you are a member of Rotary. Currently the annual member fees for being a member of the Rotary Club of Gawler Light is $275. This amount covers the various fees we have to pay to Rotary District 9510 for district administration and to Rotary International for membership and administration of the organisation globally, and a subscription to an official Rotary International monthly magazine (digital and hard copy versions available).
