Guest Speaker: Carol Eames

As an English teacher living in Asia, and in contact with adult students I have had the unique opportunity to "go home" with students to remote locations during their study breaks. This broadened my understanding of how life is lived on a daily basis in cultures very different to the Aussie context.

I have seen the creative ideas people have employed to alleviate some of the most pressing needs as well as encountered the pitfalls. Currently my travels take me to Mongolia where harsh weather and remote locations affect life and economy.
